The White Project
Once theWhite Project had been completed and work had started on our colour project, all of the 1st year fashion students took the time to organise a fashion show to showcase their outfit. Dresses, playsuits and jackets featured, all in crisp white fabrics; from organdie to cotton poplin.
The models were styled with their hair in a slick low ponytail, with a dark emerald green lip.
Due to my height, I was asked to model in the show, and wore three outfits, alongside a friend (Louisa Davies of Fashion Fumblings). The event was busy and I was racked with nerves, but all went smoothly- thank goodness.

Fragmented delicacy
Even though it is a little belated, I thought I'd share my first ever 'collection' designs. I constructed this playsuit and dress as part of the White Project, during my first term at university.
I have learnt that I have a minimalistic style aesthetic, with attention being spent on finer detail such as binding and pleating, as well as cut out panels. The sheer organdie was paired with cotton lawn to create this pure and clean outfit. It's not too obvious but I was freezing whilst doing the shoot! A mug of herbal tea was on the cards afterwards.

Pulp fiction- The Vision of Mia Wallace
A few months ago I took part in a styling shoot for some FCP students which was based on Pulp Fiction and the character of Mia Wallace. With the use of a cigarette, dollar notes and fake blood I modelled as Mia Wallace, trying to portray her in an effective manner. Safe to say I won't be wearing a black wig again any time soon.
I apologise for my disappearance from the blogging sphere, this is changing from now with posts of my work, photoshoots and various inspiration.
In the mean time feel free to take a peek at my tumblr, www.theorangewalls.tumblr.com
